Where do the Bears Go?
Uganda

Kampala - Association Francois-Xavier Bagnoud (AFXB) orphans program. Operating since 1990 this organization provides:

1. Support to orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) to go to school

2. Grants for income generation activities (IGAs) to guardians of orphans so that they use the profit to meet other basic needs of OVC.

3. Treatment for opportunistic infection to HIV/AIDS patients so that they are healthy to look after OVC.

4. Sensitization to communities about HIV/AIDS prevention and how to care for people living with AIDS.
